Gyutae Park of Winning The Web is having a contest against Tyler Cruz. The winner is the one who gets the maximum votes before the 14th of January. If the person you vote for ends up as the winner, you’ll have a chance of winning a $100 in cash from the opponent. My vote would go to Gyutae and here’s why.

Gyutae Park had one hell of a launch into the blogging world by extensively promoting his blog at John Chow dot com, one of the most trafficked blogs. As a result of this, a traffic increase to his blog was apparent. Not stopping with that, he also made sure that the content on his blog was fresh, interesting and updated frequently to capture the casual visitors who made it to his blog.

Getting people to your blog may be no big deal, if you have the money, but making them stay there is certainly a difficult task, and seeing the way Gyutae has managed it certainly shows the marketing skills he’s got. I have read Tyler’s blog occasionally, however I do find the content and the techniques in Winning The Web more suitable to my taste and I feel it has an overall appeal as well.

The tactics he followed certainly paid rich dividends even though he ended up spending around $1500. I am sure he can make that back pretty fast, provided he keeps up the content he’s been churning out till date. Good luck to Gyutae with the contest as well.

Also, he’s giving out 30 Winning The Web Tees to the first 30 people who vote for his site. That is not the reason I am voting for him, though. I would certainly recommend Winning The Web as a must read and ask you to check it out as well.
